Columbit imports labelling machines from Makro Labelling in Italy. Makro's range of machinery includes labellers to apply self adhesive, wet glue and hot melt labels on glass or PET bottles of varying sizes.

Benefits of Makro Labelling Machines:

• Base frame constructed of AISI 304 Stainless steel, fitted on height adjustable feet.
• Modular design makes the Makro labellers user friendly; applicator stations for wet glue, self adhesive and hot melt labelling are mounted on separate plug-in place stations.
• On the self - adhesive label applicator option; the easily accessible adhesive station with open top design, helps reduce label change over time.
• Optional: Optical orientation sensors for label orientation using colours spots/ shapes in relief on the glass / mould seam orientation.
• Makro starwheels have a unique design which enables one to run up to three different bottles on the same set.
• Should one need to change starwheels etc no tools are required.
• The in-feed worm, controlled by brushless motor; can handle cylindrical bottles from 60 mm in diameter up to 120 mm diameter.
• Makro labellers have an electronic cam system which means that changes made to that system are done on the touch screen; no specialised software is required.
• Fault finding is made easy; each electronic platform motor, star wheel motor and worm motor, can be individually checked on the touch screen.
